Luis, the Lexington Ballet, and “The Nutcracker”

The Lexington Ballet Company was chartered in 1974, and that same year, they performed their first production of “The Nutcracker”. The group became a fixture in the heart of downtown Lexington in 1986. In 2003, Luis Dominguez joined as the artistic director.
