Lt. Govenor Coleman to break ground on new Amen House food bank
GEORGETOWN, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – Lieutenant Governor Jacqueline Coleman will be traveling to Scott County on Wednesday to participate in the groundbreaking ceremony for a new food pantry and soup kitchen in Georgetown.
Lieutenant Governor Coleman will join local and state leaders at the event, which marks the beginning of construction for the new Amen House Food Bank. The organization has been dedicated to fighting hunger for over three decades, providing essential services to the community.
The groundbreaking ceremony will take place at 2 p.m. on East Washington Street.
