LSO: Woman drives around deputy’s cruiser in no-passing zone
LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says a woman was arrested after she drove around a sheriff’s patrol car in a no-passing zone.
Deputies say 50-year-old Kimberly Wilder of London was arrested Thursday afternoon off KY-312.
According to the sheriff’s office, Wilder was speeding when she came up from behind a fully marked sheriff’s cruiser, along with three other vehicles, in a no-passing zone. Investigators say the deputy then pulled her over, and Wilder refused to get out of the car. They say she had to be physically removed from the vehicle.
The sheriff’s office says Wilder faces several charges including reckless driving, driving on DUI suspended license and resisting arrest. It says Wilder also had outstanding warrants for failure to appear in court to face alcohol and drug-related charges.
