LPD: Woman robs hotel with pepper spray

According to police, the woman walked into the Comfort Inn and Suites on Buena Vista Road just before 3 a.m. wearing very heavy eyeliner and a bandana over her face.

The clerk was handed a note and the robber held up pepper spray, according to police.

The employee gave the suspect some cash and she ran off.

Police believe she got into a waiting car.

Police say they are not sure if there was any surveillance video available but they will be talking to hotel management.
