LPD: Woman hit by car expected to survive

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Lexington Police believe a woman who was hit by a car Saturday night will survive.

They say a car hit her around 7:20 p.m. near the Rite-Aid on Man O’ War Boulevard and Polo Club Boulevard.

According to officers, she was not in a crosswalk and was wearing dark clothing as it was raining heavily.

She was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say no charges will be filed.
