LPD: Woman assaulted in her home

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – According to Lexington police, two men broke into a woman’s home around 2 a.m. July 8, and badly beat her.
She was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, says officers, and the woman did not appear to know the suspects.
Police say there are no suspects currently, and the woman has not been home yet, so she doesn’t know if anything was stolen.
