LPD: Two drivers killed, two passengers injured in I-75 crash
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Police say two people are dead and two others are in the hospital after a crash on I-75.
They say just before 1:00 Saturday morning, two cars were speeding when they lost control and collided at exit 120, near the Fayette-Scott County line. Police say one of the cars hit a wall, and the other crashed on the side of the highway.
Investigators say both drivers were killed. The coroner identifies the victims as 40-year-old Michael Jones of Leslie County, and 42-year-old Chad Taylor of Whitley County.
Police say two passengers were taken to UK Hospital. At least one of them had life-threatening injuries.
