LPD to hold Women’s Law Enforcement Symposium
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – In an effort to encourage female candidates to apply for jobs with Lexington Police, the department will hold its 2016 Women’s Law Enforcement Symposium on Saturday, June 18.
The free event aims to educate, inspire, and empower women to become law enforcement professionals in Lexington. A panel of current female officers will discuss the job and answer questions at the event.
The symposium will take place at the Lexington Police Department Training Academy at 500 Newtown Pike. It will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
