LPD: Teen burglary suspects led police on chase

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Investigators say three teenagers burglarized a Lexington home, then led police on a chase.

Police say someone reported that three boys were carrying things out of a home on Breaders Court and loading them into a car. Officers say the witness was able to describe the vehicle and license plate number.

According to investigators, an officer later spotted the car, but the driver refused to pull over. Police say there was a short chase before the officer backed off because of safety reasons.

Police say the teens kept driving, then crashed into another car. Investigators say the boys then got out of the vehicle and ran off. Police say after a short foot chase, all three teens were taken into custody.
