LPD taps Melissa Sedlaczek as new Assistant Police Chief
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Lexington Police Department has announced two promotions, including a new Assistant Police Chief.
Melissa Sedlaczek was promoted to Assistant Chief, with command of the Bureau of Special Operations on Monday. She is the second woman in the history of the LPD to be promoted to the rank.
Chief Mark Barnard also appointed Eric Lowe to the position of Commander, with command of the Bureau of Administration, Administrative Section.
