LPD: Suspect on bicycle shoots man

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police are investigating an unusual drive-by shooting in Lexington.

They say the suspect did it on a bicycle.

The victim says he was walking down Ohio Street at around 5 a.m. Monday when someone on a bicycle passed by and started shooting.

Police say one of the bullets hit the victim in the lower part of his body.

He was taken to the hospital to be treated for an injury they say it not live-threatening.

Police say there were five to six shell casings at the scene.

They are still searching for the suspect.
