LPD: Stabbing reported but can’t find victim

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington police say they believe someone was stabbed overnight but they are having a hard time finding the victim.

They got the call just after 11 p.m. Sunday about a stabbing in the 600 block of Shropshire but when officers arrived, they say there was no victim.

Officers say they did find blood in the parking lot along with a bloody shirt.

They spoke with people at the scene but say they didn’t have a lot of information.

They are now waiting to see if anyone shows up at one of the hospitals with a stab wound.
