LPD: Sports store robbed in Eastland Shopping Center

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police say two men robbed a Hibbett Sports store in the Eastland Shopping Center on Winchester Road just before 9:00 p.m. Thursday.

Investigators say one of the two men pretended to be shopping in the business when the second man walked in and they both robbed the store.

Police say both men had guns. They were both wearing black hooded sweatshirts.

The two robbers left the scene in a Gray Toyota, according to investigators.
