LPD: Sleepy driver causes crash

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington police say a woman fell asleep at the wheel, causing a crash on I64 Wednesday morning.

The crash happened at around 4:15 a.m. in the westbound lanes near mile marker 85.

Police say the driver of a car told them she fell asleep at the wheel then crashed into a pickup.

Her car then flipped.

Police say no one was seriously injured.
