LPD: Shelby Street home hit by bullets, five people inside

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — Police responded to a shots fired call in the 500 block of Shelby Street Sunday evening.

According to investigators 10 to 12 rounds were fired and five of those rounds hit the home around 12:30 a.m.

Some of the bullets made it into the home and hit the walls.

Police say there were five adults inside the home at the time of the shooting.
No injuries were reported.

Those inside the home say they don’t know how many shooters there were and whether they were on foot or in a vehicle.
Police say it doesn’t appear anything else was hit in the shooting.
It is not clear if the home was targeted or if the shooting was random, according to Police.
Investigators say they have little information at this time.
