LPD: Several shots fired into building with people inside

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Bullets riddled a building with people inside early Wednesday morning in Lexington.

Police say they received several calls at around 1:15 a.m. about shots fired in the 400-block of Douglas Avenue.

When officers arrived, they discovered several bullet rounds were fired into a triplex with four people inside.

A car outside was also hit.

No one was injured, according to police.

Witnesses say they heard a car speed away after the shots were fired but did not see anything.
