LPD: Pedestrian hit by car; not seriously hurt
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police say a man was hit by a car at New Circle Road and Boardwalk shortly after 9:00 p.m. Tuesday.
Investigators say the man, who may be homeless, was not seriously hurt, but was taken to the hospital to be checked out.
Police say the man was not in a crosswalk when he was hit.
A stretch of the inner loop of New Circle Road was closed for a short time following the accident, but has since reopened.
No names were released.
The woman who hit the man was not cited, according to police.
