LPD: Passenger Cut Out of Car Following Collision
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Three people were hurt, one of them seriously, in a two-vehicle collision in Lexington Wednesday evening, according to police.
Investigators say the driver of a vehicle, with two passengers, was turning left off of Armstrong Mill onto the outer loop of Man O War Boulevard when it collided with another vehicle.
Police say one of the passengers had to be cut out of the vehicle by firefighters.
Investigators say the person’s injuries were serious, but did not appear to be life-threatening. The other two people in the same vehicle were less seriously hurt, according to police.
Investigators say the driver of the other vehicle was not injured.
The accident happened around 7:00 p.m.
