LPD: Parking lot shooting leaves one injured
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington police say a man showed up at the hospital Monday night, suffering from gunshot wounds.
They say it followed a verbal altercation in a parking lot on East Second Street and Race Street just before 12 a.m.
Police say the victim and another man were in a car when another car pulled up with two men inside.
They say there was an argument and the suspects starting firing at their car, then took off.
Police say several shots hit the car and struck the victim.
They drove to the University of Kentucky hospital where the victim is said to be in stable condition.
The suspects’ car is described as a four-door white passenger car.
