LPD: Man Throws Hatchet at Neighbor’s Truck
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man ended up with a hatchet embedded in his truck, and police say it was courtesy of his neighbor.
Court documents say 50-year-old Daniel Chapman began yelling racial slurs at his neighbor as he came out of his house on Sequoia Drive last week.
Documents go on to say they when the man got into his truck and started to drive away, Chapman threw a hatchet at him.
The hatchet stuck in the driver’s side wheelbase, according to documents.
Police say the driver’s side window was down at the time.
Chapman is charged with wanton endangerment.
