LPD: Man steals checks from business

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police accuse a man of burglarizing a Lexington business and stealing a check book.

Police say the suspect, 38-year-old Christopher Clemons, began forging checks from Allen’s Food Mart on Oxford Circle.

Court documents say Clemons wrote three checks, but was caught when he started writing the fourth.

Documents say, in all, Clemons stole $318.00.
