LPD: Man stabs neighbor for being too loud

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A fight between neighbors leads to a stabbing Sunday night.

Police say they were called to an apartment complex at 1601 Alexandria Drive at 11:18 p.m. and found a man suffering from stab wounds to his throat and leg.

He was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Court documents say the victim’s downstairs neighbor, 58-year-old Michael Donatelli, confronted the victim about making too much noise.

That led to a fight and documents say Donatelli pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim.

Donatelli is charged with assault.
