LPD: Man found shot on Booker Street

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police are investigating an early morning that left one man injured.

Investigators say the shooting happened Saturday around 1 a.m.

Police responded to shots being fired on Booker Street and Newtown Pike.
Once officers arrived they say they found a man suffering from a gun shot wound to his right leg .

The shooting victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.

Police say the shooter is still at large.
