LPD: Man fired shots at mother through door

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police say a Lexington man opened fire on his own mother in a home.

Danny Tinsley was arrested Monday afternoon.

According to court documents, Tinsley was in his bedroom Sunday night, when he fired six shots through the door at his mother.

She was not hit.

Documents say when police went to arrest Tinsley the next day at a business on Alexandria Drive, he had a submachine gun concealed in a box in his possession.
