LPD: Man escapes during arrest, kicks police cruiser’s window

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man will face an escape charge after police say he kicked out a police cruiser’s window while being taken to jail Friday.

Police say 29-year-old Raymond Stansell kicked out one of the cruiser’s windows and took off running.

Police say he was taken into custody shortly after.

Stansell is scheduled to appear in court Monday.
