LPD: Man claims he was cut by stranger at his door

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police say when they responded to a call at a home in the 100 block of Thompson Road Monday night, they found a trail of blood, but no victim. Investigators eventually tracked down the man who left that blood trail at the hospital.

Police say the man told them a stranger knocked on his door around 10:00 p.m. trying to sell him something. The man told police when he told the stranger he wasn’t interested, the man cut him twice and left in a white pickup truck. Investigators say the reported victim’s injuries were not life-threatening.
