LPD: Man arrested after swerving towards officers in car

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — Lexington Police have arrested a man for wanton endangerment, after they say he swerved his car towards officers while they conducted a traffic stop.

Police say they were investigating a car on Owsley Avenue Sunday night, when 24-year-old Chester Hubbard drove down the road at a high rate of speed.

They say he swerved towards officers, who were standing behind a parked car on the street.

According to police, Hubbard almost pinned an officer and a civilian between his car and the parked car.

Police say Hubbard was also driving on a suspended license.
