LPD: Man arrested for robbery

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police have arrested a man, after they say he robbed and assaulted another man on Red Mile Road.

According to Lexington Police, back on December 12th, they responded to a call about a robbery on Red Mile Road.

Police say a man told them he was robbed of 80 dollars at gunpoint.

They say he told police he was in a vehicle being driven by another man, with Reeves in the front passenger seat, and another man in the back seat.

Police say the men told him they were on the way to pick up woman on Red Mile Road.

Shortly after, police say they stopped and someone put a shotgun in his face.

According to Lexington Police, Reeves turned from the passenger seat and punched in the face several times demanding money.

They say the man gave up the 80 dollars he had, and they kicked him out of the car.

Police say Reeves is charged with robbery, receiving stolen property, and burglary.

He is scheduled to appear in court on those charges today.
