LPD: Man arrested, assaults victim after crash

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man is facing two charges after police say he assaulted another driver after crashing into them on New Circle Road.

Police say 25-year-old Jarrin Davis tried to break into the other driver’s vehicle, and pointed a handgun at him after the accident happened.

According to Lexington Police, Davis tried to steal the man’s phone to prevent him from getting away after the crash; while assaulting him in the process.

Police say Davis could have killed the man during the accident; which led him to being charged with wanton endangerment.

Davis is also charged with robbery, and will appear in court today.
