LPD: Man angry at roommates starts fire in apartment

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police say a man admitted he started a fire in an apartment because he was angry at his roommates.

Investigators say the man started the fire shortly after 9:00 p.m. at Newtown Crossing Apartments on Foreman Avenue.

Police say he was taken into custody, accused of arson. His name wasn’t released.

Investigators say the damage was confined to the one apartment.

No one was hurt.
