LPD: Man Admitted to Making & Detonating Explosive Device

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Lexington police accuse a man of making and detonating an explosive device.  They say 56-year-old Richard Farr was arrested Wednesday for wanton endangerment.

According to police, something exploded Sunday night at Centre Meadows Apartments on Centre Parkway. Officers say witnesses identified Farr as a possible suspect.

Investigators say Farr admitted to making and detonating the small explosive device. Police say the ATF is helping with the investigation.
