LPD looking for suspect after Check Advance robbery

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington police are looking for a man they say was involved in an armed robbery at the Check Advance on Richmond Road Tuesday afternoon.

Officers say, at about 1:15 p.m., a man in a black hoodie wearing a black Ravens cap came into the business, showed a gun, and demanded money.

Investigators say once the man got the money, he ran off toward Gabriel Brothers.

No one was hurt.

Officers are reviewing surveillance footage.
