LPD Looking for Gas Station Robbery Suspect
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) -The Lexington Police Department is asking for help from the public in identifying a man they say robbed a gas station early Friday morning.
Officers say they were called to the Marathon Gas Station on North Broadway at about 5:30 a.m. about an armed robbery. Police say the clerk told them a man came in the store, showed a knife, and demanded money from the register. After the clerk handed over the money, the man ran off.
Officers have released a surveillance photo of the suspect.
Anyone who can identify the man, or who has information on the incident, is asked to call police at (859) 258-3600.
