LPD: Lighter caused small explosion at Lexington home
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man ended up with serious injuries to his hand after a lighter he picked up exploded.
Police say the man was at an estate sale on Nakomi Drive in Lexington around 9:15 a.m. Friday when it happened.
They say when the man tried to light a lighter he spotted at the sale, it exploded.
He was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries.
Two other people were also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Police and the Lexington Fire Department are investigating.
