LPD investigating armed robbery at Lexington Walgreens

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police in Lexington are investigating an armed robbery that happened at the Richmond Road Walgreens at about 6:00 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Officers say a man with a shaved head in his late 20’s to early 30’s came into the store wearing a mask, khaki shorts, and a green button-down shirt.  Investigators say the man went to the cashier, pulled a gun and demanded money.

When he got it, and turned to leave, the cashier saw a large tattoo on the right side of the man’s neck, say police.

No reports of any injuries in the robbery.
