LPD: Hotel clerk robbed overnight
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police say they were called to the Quality Inn Northwest hotel around 10:45 Sunday night.
They say a man came into the hotel with his hand in a pocket and implied he had a weapon. The clerk tells police the suspect then demanded money. The clerk complied and the man took off.
Police say the clerk was the only person in the lobby at the time of the robbery. Witnesses tell police they believe they saw the suspect get into a car outside the hotel and take off.
That vehicle is described as a gold or tan four-door Nissan Altima.
