UPDATE: DUI charge, other offenses for man who drove car into Lexington building
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) -A man who crashed his car into a building on Sir Barton Way early Wednesday morning has been charged with DUI, resisting arrest, and fleeing and evading police, according to the Lexington Police Department.
Officers say, just before 2:30 a.m., 38-year-old Randall Scott Napier was spotted driving erratically. As police were following his car, they say he drove the wrong way down a street, and then hit a building.
Officers say Napier was taken to the hospital for treatment, and appeared to be under the influence.
He has now been charged, and is at the Fayette Co. Detention Center.

A wrong turn sent one driver right into a building Wednesday morning.
It was on Sir Barton Way just before 2:30 a.m.
Police say they spotted a car driving erratically and followed it.
The driver then went the wrong way down a street, turned, then hit a building.
There was minor damage to the building, according to police.
The driver was taken to the hospital.
Police say the driver appeared to be under the influence at the time of the accident.
