LPD: Driver Runs Into Parked State Police Cruiser On I-75
Lexington Police said a Kentucky State Trooper escaped injury Sunday night after a car hit his parked cruiser along Interstate 75 in Fayette County.
Investigators said the Trooper had pulled off on the shoulder of southbound I-75 near mile marker 105 to help an SUV when a woman drove her vehicle into the cruiser.
The accident happened around 8:00 p.m.
The Trooper was inside the cruiser at the time of the collision, according to investigators.
Police said the Trooper wasn’t injured.
Investigators said some witnesses helped the Trooper out of the cruiser.
The woman who reportedly hit the cruiser suffered minor injuries, according to police.
