LPD: Driver Hits Parked Car, Takes Off

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington police are trying to track down a driver who wrecked a car and ran off.

Three people who were in the car were left behind, according to police.

They say just before 12:30 a.m. Thursday the driver took a curve and slammed into a parked car on Sandersville Road.

Police say the driver got out of the car and ran off.

Three passengers stayed at the scene.

Police say they suffered minor injuries.
