LPD: Double shooting in Lexington, one victim innocent bystander
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – An innocent bystander was among two people injured in a shooting in downtown Lexington early Saturday morning.
Lexington Police say two men got into an argument at the corner of West Short Street and North Mill Street just after 2:30 a.m. Saturday.
Investigators say one of the men pulled a gun, shot the man he was arguing with and then shot an innocent bystander.
Police say both victims’ injuries appeared to be non-life threatening. No names were released.
As of this writing, the shooter had not been identified publicly or arrested.
