LPD: Customer forced to floor in store robbery

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – One man served as a lookout while another man robbed a convenience store in Lexington, according to police.

They say it happened at Z Market 1 on Versailles Road just before midnight Sunday.

Police say one man wearing a mask and carrying a gun walked into the store and demanded cash.

They say a customer was in the store at the time and was told to get on the floor.

Police say another man stood outside the doorway, keeping watch.

Both took off after the robbery.

No one was injured.
