2 deaths in less than 24 hours on I-75

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – There has been a second fatal accident on I-75 in less than 24 hours.

On Friday, units responded to I-75 northbound near the 104 mile marker for a single vehicle collision.

First responders say when they arrived, they found the vehicle off the roadway with an elderly woman aside, apparently deceased.

Patrol units attempted CPR, but were unable to revive the woman.

Investigators believe a medical emergency caused the woman to drive off the roadway.
