LPD: Car riddled with bullets in plaza parking lot

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police say several shots were fired into a car in the parking lot of the Russell Cave Plaza on Russell Cave Road. Police say it happened around 9:45 p.m. Thursday. Investigators say the car took off after being shot up. It was found abandoned a short time later on Hollow Creek Road, according to Police.

Investigators say at this time, they aren’t aware of any shooting victims and haven’t named any suspects or made any arrests. The investigation continues.
