LPD: Car hits Lextran bus

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Police say a security camera from a Lexington business captured a car colliding with a Lextran bus.

Officers say the accident happened around 7:00 tonight at East 7th Street and North Limestone. Police say the car ran a red light and collided with the bus.

Investigators say a passenger in the car was taken to the hospital, but is expected to be okay. Police say the Lextran bus was empty, except for the driver, who wasn’t hurt.
