Low Income Energy Assistance Program to run until December 13

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Monday was the first day people in Kentucky could apply for the Low Income Energy Assistance Program, or LIHEAP, through the Community Action Council.

The subsidy period runs from now until December 13, where people can get help with their normal utility bill.

The crisis period begins January 7. That’s when people can’t afford to pay their heating bill.
