Louisville taxi driver drowns in flood waters
LOUISVILLE, Ky (WTVQ/WHAS11) – Flooding Saturday night in Louisville killed a taxi driver.
Metro police say a yellow cab driver was going west on Oak Street toward a railroad underpass when his cab got stuck in high water and flooded.
He couldn’t escape and when emergency crews got there around 11 PM they say the cab was submerged.
They removed his body and pronounced him dead on the scene.
