Louisville man charged with murdering girlfriend

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Authorities say a 26-year-old Louisville man has been charged with killing his girlfriend.

According to WHAS-TV (http://bit.ly/1zaj5BD), Deshon Dorsey was charged with one count of murder in the death of 24-year-old Porcia Mills. Officials say Dorsey was the live-in boyfriend of Mills.

Authorities discovered Mills’ body at her apartment on Friday after friends requested a welfare check. A coroner said Mills died from multiple stab wounds.

Dorsey was being held in the Jefferson County Jail.

Court records do not show if he has an attorney.
