Louisville man arrested for human trafficking; juvenile found
FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Louisville man was arrested on multiple charges, including human trafficking, after the Office of the Attorney General received information a juvenile was being advertised for prostitution.
39-year old Silky Clark was investigated last week after the Lexington Human Trafficking Task Force received information about the juvenile, according to investigators.
After hours of surveillance, Clark was arrested in Louisville, according to investigators.
Within hours of the arrest, the juvenile was safely recovered by a joint effort involving the Department of Criminal Investigations and the Louisville Metro Police Department, according to investigators.
Clark is due in court October 3. Investigators say additional criminal charges are possible in the case.
