Louisville earns Top 10 ranking for job creation

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) – A national magazine has given Metro Louisville a Top 10 ranking in economic development and job creation.

A statement from Mayor Greg Fischer says Louisville placed seventh in Site Selection Magazine’s list of top tier metro areas that have populations of more than 1 million people. The release credits several business investments and company expansions in the city last year. The city had 62 business development projects that added 5,400 new jobs.

A statement from Site Selection says Kentucky was recognized for its capital investment activity in 2015.
