Louisville company adding space and creating jobs

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ)- A Louisville business is set to expand its operation with an investment that will create 100 full-time jobs.

WireCrafters LLC is a manufacturer of wire partitions and has been in Louisville for 50 years.

With a $5.37 million investment, the company aims to cut turnaround time by adding production space.

WireCrafters will add 26,000 square feet to its facility, which will provide extra space for the welding department.

This expansion will create jobs within the welding, finishing, and shipping departments.

Current limited space has created a product turnaround time of up to 24 days to ship items to customers, but with the added space, the goal is down to 10 days.
